Swasika Vijay is a renowned Indian actress. She was named Pooja Vijay at birth but took up Swasika as her stage name.
She began her career in films in 2009 with L.R. Sundarapandi's touching romantic movie Vaigai (2009) - she played the role of a village girl in the film. Her exceptional acting in the film instantly grabbed the viewers' attention.
Her next film was Goripalayam (2010), directed by Rasu Madhuravan - she played the second lead in this action-drama movie. She was yet to complete her education when she got a chance to act in this film.
