Lena Góra is a Polish-American actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker, recognized for her bold performances and unique storytelling. She rose to prominence with her portrayal of her mother in Imago-a film she also wrote-which earned her the Best Polish Actress in a Leading Role award in 2023. Imago became a festival favorite, winning the Silver Lions, Best Music, and the prestigious FIPRESCI Critics Award for Best Film at the 2023 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Her performance in the film was highly praised, with Cineuropa calling it "one of the most memorable arthouse film characters in recent years."
