Lewis Mackinnon

Lewis Mackinnon is a Scottish actor from Inverness in the Highlands. He trained at the Oxford School of Drama and with The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Lewis appeared as Anton Nyberg in the Netflix series Young Wallander and as the Scottish physician and poet William Beattie in the popular ITV drama Victoria. He starred alongside Sir Patrick Stewart, who voiced the dragon Drago, in the Universal Pictures DragonHeart franchise film DragonHeart: Battle for the Heartfire. Lewis played the lead in the film Attrition, which was featured in Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals, including the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the Krakow Film Festival. This role earned Lewis a Best Actor Award at the Horror Origins Film Festival, and the film went on to win the Director's Choice Award at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema and a Cthulhu Trophy at FilmQuest.
