Keanu Reeves is not afraid to try new things even at 60. On Saturday, Oct. 5, the ‘Matrix’ star made his professional racing debut at the Toyota Gr Cup in Indianapolis. Can you guess the position he placed among 35 racers?
Keanu Reeves – Takes Part In 45-minute Professional Racing
Keanu Reeves just had a real life John Wick moment at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Reeves qualified 31st out of 35 cars for the Toyota Gr Cup – a series which takes place alongside the Indy 8 Hour event.
According to Associated Press, Reeves’ car spun out of control at one point, but he quickly recovered and kept racing, whilst signalling fans and crew that he’s fine. Driving a red No. 92 Brzrkr car – a reference to his graphic novel ‘The Book of Elsewhere’ – he finished in the 25th position, even though he ranked as high as as the 21st position at some point during the race.

Who knew one of the scariest settings for a TV series could be the Los Feliz real estate market? “Dead to Me” creator Liz Feldman previewed her latest dark comedy series with a first-look teaser for “No Good Deed” on Monday.
The new Netflix series follows three families all competing for the same 1920s Spanish-style Los Angeles home while empty nesters played by Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano do everything in their power to keep the darkness of their house concealed to the prospective buyers.
Lydia Morgan (Kudrow) is a high-strung concert pianist, who just wants to stand by her husband’s side but does not want to leave the family home. Her husband Paul Morgan (Romano) is a broke contractor, who sees no other option but to sell their place and retire.
However, things take an ominous turn for the worst: there’s a woman escorted out in handcuffs,...

Bowen Yang’s Saturday Night Live Emmy nomination landed on a day that started off quite uneventfully. He had spent the morning journaling and folding laundry.
“It was a very sweet moment that coexisted with my boring, quotidian lifestyle,” Yang says of the instant he received the news via text from his team. But as he speaks, his life seems far from dull — in addition to SNL, he co-hosts the GLAAD and iHeartRadio Award-winning podcast Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and later this year will appear as Pfannee in the much-anticipated first installment of the two-part feature Wicked.
The schedule seems grueling, but Yang is quite calm. “I just front-load the week,” he says. Mondays and Tuesdays are for Las Culturistas, then he heads to SNL’s table read Wednesday. When he was shooting Wicked, he flew to London on Sundays, after SNL, and then returned for the next...

When Andy Cohen asked Bowen Yang about the worst “Saturday Night Live” host he’d ever worked with, the comedian had an answer ready.
Although he didn’t name names, Yang revealed that the guilty party was a guy — although it seemed even revealing their gender was more than he intended.
“This man who… this person, this host made multiple cast members cry on Wednesday before the table read because he hated the ideas,” Yang told Cohen on the Monday’s “Watch What Happens Live” alongside frequent collaborator Matt Rogers.
Yang was hired as a writer in 2018 for Season 44 before being bumped up to on-camera talent for Season 45, so the range of suspects is a long one. However, Rogers offered a small hint, adding, “He’s got new PR and everything.”
Yang recently received his fourth Emmy nomination for his work on the NBC sketch show, and his third as outstanding supporting actor.

To make it to the top, you’ve got to overcome the mortification, according to Matt Rogers on the latest edition of the Las Culturistas podcast. “You have to sometimes climb up a huge hill of cringe,” Rogers explained. “And once you can scale that hill — which might be your judgment on yourself, it might be your judgment on what you’re doing, it might be everyone saying what you’re doing is cringe — on the other end, you slide down into happiness and nirvana.”
Hey, Rogers, you don’t have to tell that to Bowen Yang, a comic who has lived that particular struggle. “I know about working through cringe, climbing Cringe Mountain,” Yang responded. “I work at Saturday Fucking Night Live, the cringiest thing in show business on every level.”

There’s been a little too much talk about Hillbilly Elegy of late. Las Culturistas’ Matt Rogers speculated that if we’d only given Amy Adams her Oscar for Arrival, she never would have done Hillbilly, and then maybe we wouldn’t be dealing with Jd Vance as our potential Vice Presidential nominee.

In the history of cinema, there have been actors who have taken extreme measures to completely immerse themselves in their roles. As evidenced by Christian Bale’s 62-pound weight loss to play an emaciated insomniac in The Machinist and Shia Labeouf extracting his own tooth for Fury. However, Jeremy Strong may have elevated his method of acting to a whole new level.

Strong portrays the role of Kendall Roy in Succession, a well-acclaimed comedy-drama series. Although the actor’s performance on the show has received positive reviews, Bowen Yang on the other hand believes that Strong may have taken his method acting a bit too seriously.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Weekend Update anchor will travel to the South Pacific to interview athletes and preview the waves, leaving the actual commentary and play-by-play to, you know, sportscasters. Their names are Joe Turpel and Michael Parsons, two guys who’ve only spent a lifetime preparing for an opportunity to ask Colin Jost questions about gnarly conditions at the beach.

Dukoff’s addition marks the company’s first hire since Collective founder and CEO Kilpatrick launched the firm in September 2023 as a one-person operation.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on April 5 with episode 14 on MTV. Airing concurrently with the main show is its tea-spilling, backstage-focused sister series “Untucked,” now in its 15th season. For this week’s challenge, the final four, referred to as the semi-finalists, developed concepts for a memoir, wrote stories about their lives and then presented those ideas to Matt Rogers in a live podcast interview.
After critiques from the judges, Sapphira Cristál, Plane Jane, Q and Nymphia Wind made their way to the “Untucked Lounge” where Jane and Q were convinced that they were the bottom two. Both girls could not look beyond the negative comments they received from the judges on stage. Jane knew that she didn’t show enough vulnerability in her podcast and Q was disappointed that she didn’t deliver a better look for her book cover photo shoot. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on April 5 with the fourteenth episode in RuPaul’s quest to find “America’s next drag superstar.” Previously in episode 13, Sapphira Cristál found herself vulnerable to elimination for the first time in the competition after serving up the judges’ least favorite “family resemblance” in the drag makeover challenge. In the Lip Sync for Your Life, her track record proved too impressive for Morphine Love Dion, lip syncing for the fourth time, to overcome.
Seated at the judges’ dais this week for episode 14 titled “Booked & Blessed” was Emmy winning host RuPaul Charles, longtime bestie Michelle Visage, recurring judge Ts Madison, and journalist Ronan Farrow as the special guest judge.
The queens still vying for the crown are: Nymphia Wind, Plane Jane, Q, and Sapphira Cristál.

In a preview for an episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix revealed that she struggled financially before and after Scandoval. She sees how the internet made it seem as though she made a ton of money off of the affair, but she indeed did not. A lot of her money ended up going towards the house she owns with Tom Sandoval. It makes more sense now that she would fight so hard over the house, she spent most of her money on. Even then, it was before the affair became public and she did not make as much money as people think.

Comedian Matt Rogers won big on the most recent episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, but he faced backlash from fans after an old clip resurfaced where he once slammed the show and its host, Pat Sajak. The clip, from Rogers’ iHeart Radio podcast Las Culturistas, went viral following the New York native’s impressive win on last Wednesday’s (December 13) episode of Wheel. Rogers bagged a massive $260,650 for charity in a decisive victory against Paula Abdul and comedian/actor Lil Rel Howery. In the clip, Rogers tells his co-host, Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live), that Wheel of Fortune is a “stupid,” “boring” show with “no skill involved.” The rant was from a 2021 episode and part of the podcast’s regular “I Don’t Think So, Honey” segment, where the hosts and their guests are given 60 seconds to sound off about frustrating cultural phenomenons. I Don’T Think So Honey: Wheel of Fortune!

At least one auld acquaintance won’t be present for CNN’s annual coverage of the nation’s New Year’s Eve festivities.
Sara Sidner and Cari Champion will take over the Warner Bros. Discovery network’s wee-hours broadcast on New Year’s Eve, holding forth from Austin, Texas, during a slot that for years served as a showcase for raucous antics from Don Lemon. Lemon and CNN parted ways earlier this year after management tried to move him from a prominent primetime show to the network’s morning program.
Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will return as hosts of CNN’s main coverage of the evening. The broadcast will feature performances by Enrique Iglesias, Maroon 5, Jonas Brothers, Flo Rida, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Rod Stewart and live interviews with Patti Labelle, Jeremy Renner, Neil Patrick Harris, Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.
