Antonio Salinas is an actor, writer, and director, born and raised in San Diego, CA. He got his start in acting during his Junior, and Senior year of High School at Mount Miguel. He was a part of the theater program, while performing multiple times on stage, and was apart of the Mount Miguel Speech & Debate Team program, where he, and his partner, took 5th place at the State Championship of California for Duo Interpretation. In College he continued his training of acting, but wanted to know what happens behind the camera. After his first class of video production, he knew that acting wasn't his only talent. Thus is pursuit of writing, and directing begun. Just a few months later he also joined an improv team, known as The Hinges, and began a twelve year journey as one of San Diego's best, and well known improv troupes. The Hinges performed at the IO West theater, in LA, multiple times, and multiple times at the IO West Theater Improv Festival, where The Hinges took audience choice award one year. However, Antonio never stopped there. He even started a film production company known as Stage Right Productions, and has made multiple short films, and also participated in San Diego's 48 Hour Film Project, where his team won third place in audience choice award. Antonio was also in the feature film CARBON, which was a huge success, and filmed all in San Diego, CA.
