Lyon Sim
- Actor
Although Lyon Sim has been acting over 10 years, having experience with
films that include Tadpoles (Jury Prize at Festival del film Locarno
2013), he makes his debut as the lead actor in a feature film,
Faeryville, with it's premiere in Los Angeles.
Lyon looks younger than he is, so he usually uses theatre as a medium to play closer to his age. He led the cast of Makanplace, Singapore's very first musical, when it traveled in 2011 and staged in Jakarta. Recently, he also led a cast of 17 others in Sex Cells, the first musical Science Centre Singapore has ever staged.
Amongst his favorite screen roles are: Donkey in V1k1: A Techno Fairytale (Gold REMI Award - Fantasy/Sci-Fi category 2011 Houston WorldFest), Oliver in Cubik (Grand REMI Award - 2010 Houston WorldFest).
In the meantime, Lyon is writing a feature length script while acting and looking forward to cast in any of Paul Thomas Anderson's and/or Christopher Nolan's film(s).
