Born David Gabriel Benjamin Brown in 1977 in Illinois, David was raised
in Michigan, the oldest of four children. After a few years of college,
during which he studied an array of subjects including music and
theology, David joined the U.S. Army. Upon completion of his active
duty service, David returned to school, this time to study film
production, direction and writing. After accepting a job as a
restaurant manager, David kept the job until 2007, when he decided he
wanted to return to filmmaking - this time in front of the camera.
Parts in independent short and feature films continued to be offered,
and David signed on with two agencies in the Detroit, Michigan, area.
Gravitating back towards writing and directing, David decided to attend
The Motion Picture Institute of Michigan, located in Troy, Michigan, to
learn how professionals approach filmmaking. David's acting career
continues, recently performing in movies such as "Mimesis: Night of the
Living Dead" by Dead Wait Productions and Anchor Bay, as well as the
small role of Theo on the AMC television show "Low Winter Sun".
