Argyris Gaganis

Argiris Gaganis is a Greek actor born in Hannover, Germany. At the age of 5 he
moved with his parents to Thessaloniki, Greece where he spent his childhood and
adolescence years. In 1996 he moved to London where he studied acting and got his
Diploma in Performing arts in 1999.
His first appearance on the big screen was in Mathew Vaughn's '' Layer Cake '' starring
Daniel Craig where he portrayed a Serbian gangster.
In 2007 he returned to Thessaloniki and starred in various productions of the National
Theatre of Northern Greece.
Since 2011 he resides in Athens.
He starred in numerous domestic television, and theatre productions, short and feature
films as well as foreign productions.
He can be seen as Benito in the thriller '' The Hunted '' directed by Louis Lagayette, now
showing on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
He appeared on the film '' Saison Morte '' and the Greek series '' Save me '' showing at the Greek Netflix.
He worked with North Macedonian director Jani Bojadzi in his film '' Mocking of Christ ''
and participated in the series '' Dahab '' NBC Middle East and the French series '' Kabul ''.
He recently starred in the film '' The secret of the Forest '' directed by Makis Tsoufis and
Stelios Orfanides due to be released in the cinemas summer of 2024.
His latest TV credit is in the hit series '' I Magissa ''.
He is in rehearsals and very excited for his collaboration with highly awarded and
critically acclaimed director Yannis Economides for his latest film '' Broken Vein ''.
He is also doing combat training for his role as B.O.B (Beast of Belgium) a ruthless
mercenary in the upcoming feature film '' Memento Mori 2 ''directed by Makis Tsoufis due
to be filmed in Greece and other locations in 2024.
