Paul Kwo was born in Hong Kong, China, on August 24th, 1980, but later moved to California. He is known for appearing in several movies and TV shows, beginning in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He is also a musician, food enthusiast, comedian, author, Methodist pastor, and civil rights/LGBTQ+ rights supporter. He is most famous for his role in the 2014-2021 "God's Not Dead" movies series, playing the role of Martin, a friendly, warm-hearted, atheist/agnostic Chinese exchange student who travels to the Southeast United States and converts to Christianity, in the movies. In addition to the "God's Not Dead" series, Paul has appeared in several TV series, such as "Scrubs," "Fresh Off the Boat," "Knight Rider," and "NCIS: Los Angeles." He appeared in the 2011 erotic-comedy movie, "Naked Run," and has provided the voices in several cartoons as well as in the more recent animated movie, "Duck Duck Goose" (2018).
