Allen Clary is an award-winning writer best known for creating the series Zac & Mia on Paramount Plus.
In 2018, season one of Zac & Mia garnered six Daytime Emmy nominations - including "Outstanding Digital Drama Series" - and Clary won the Emmy for "Outstanding Writing in a Digital Drama Series." He also won the Writers Guild of America Award of "Outstanding Writing in Adapted New Media" for the show. In 2019, season two of Zac & Mia was released and Clary was named as an honoree of the WGA's TV Writer Access Project.
Growing up in a farming family in a rural region of Southwest Texas, Clary went on to pursue his passion for writing at The University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in "Radio-Television-Film." He now resides in Los Angeles and began his television writing career on the shows Life Unexpected and 90210 for The CW.
