Hello. I am Belén San Román.
I am a comedy actress because laughing is necessary and making people laugh is a privilege.
My mother used to tell me that, I don't know how, but I always made her laugh. I still don't know how, but I would like millions of people to laugh with me.
I have starred in 16 shorts, a feature film directed by Juanjo Castro and 15 plays. Also, I have collaborated as a supporting actress in two more feature films: one directed by Pablo Moreno and another with George Karja. I have worked on successful series such as "Sagrada Familia" and "La Que se Avecina", among others. I have done over 1300 live performances. Tour through 10 communities in Spain. Seasons at Teatro Bellas Artes, Alcázar, Galileo and Victoria.
I have training in script-writing, distribution and audiovisual production, because I believe that understanding what others do helps me become a better actress.
I love children because they are awake to learn, to be surprised. And since we all have our child inside, in general I like people. Being empathetic comes as standard to me. My mother was the best listener.
