Chris Molinaro is an award-winning screenwriter with 20-years in the TV and film industry. His first feature film, the critically acclaimed DRUNK BUS (98% on Rotten Tomatoes), stars Charlie Tahan from OZARK and Kara Hayward from MOONRISE KINGDOM. Originally scheduled to premiere at The 2020 SXSW Film Festival that got canceled due to Covid-19, the film found its way to virtual festivals and picked up Best Feature and The Audience Choice Award at The 2020 San Diego International Film Festival.
Chris graduated with a journalism degree from Rutgers University and studied sketch-writing at The Upright Citizens Brigade under esteemed teachers Adam Conover, Brandon Bassham and Michael Delaney.
In addition to penning several official Funny or Die videos, including "Thoughts & Prayers" starring SNL alum Darrell Hammond, you've also seen Chris' work writing, producing and editing the on-air and social campaigns for PORTLANDIA, MARON, DOCUMENTARY NOW!, THE SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, THE FILM INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS, THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS... and countless others. His company, Hooray for Everything, is a favorite one-stop shop for AMC Networks, NBCU, Viacom, Broadway Video and more.
Chris is developing new scripted projects with several production companies. He once pet a goat and is repped by Jeff Belkin at Zero Gravity Management.
