Ryan holds dual degrees from the University of Southern California schools of Film and Business. He began his studies in the art of storytelling at the age of 14 at the acclaimed South Orange County School of the Arts.
Much like Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Sicario, Wind River), Ryan is an actor turned Writer/Director/Producer. He has multiple projects in various stages of production with prestigious production companies and studios. He has worked with Warner Bros, MGM, Amazon, Netflix and Sony Executives on development projects in the past and has partnered with A Visionary Film and Cinema Ways on a series of television and film projects.
His short film "Buoyancy" that he wrote and directed starring John Heard has won numerous awards at festivals around the country.
He grew up in Orange County. His father is a successful real estate broker and his mother is a world renowned public speaker.
