Mykel Hawke started his media career after serving in the U.S. Army Special Forces.
He was a Medic, Communicator, Intelligence Operator & Combat Commander.
He was rated in 7 Languages, Earned 2 Blackbelts and his Masters Degree.
Hawke started a Medical Company providing care in War Zones and then Mykel created a Tourism business teaching outdoor skills to kids.
This is where Road Rules found him at his Costa Rica school in 1998. He was asked to help the production, then to play both roles, as the good guy teacher & then the bad guy body snatcher.
This positive relationship with the production crew and executives resulted in Mykel doing more media support and ultimately Hawke became a Producer for ABC when 9/11 happened.
After serving 2 years on combat orders, Captain Hawke was released from duty. With the raised profile in the Media of The Green Berets AKA: The Quiet Professionals, Mykel was asked to do a number of shows as a Subject Matter Expert. Eventually, Hawke was asked to do more talent and personality based roles.
After a while, Mykel was asked what shows he'd make if he had a choice and Hawke then created and produced a number of hit shows like: Man Woman Wild, One Man Army, Lost Survivors & Elite Tactical Unit.
Since then, Mykel Hawke has done over 50 shows, 8 series and 1 film as well as written a dozen books and made dozens of survival products. He is working on 2 shows, 2 films and one music project.
Myke is well known for supporting numerous charities that support: Combat SOF Veterans, Under Privileged Children & Anti-Poaching Efforts.
Captain Mykel Hawke retired from U.S. Army Special Forces Command, located at Ft. Bragg, NC on 22 June, 2011 when his 3rd Son was born. He is Married to TV Host, Ruth England of the UK. He has 3 sons and 2 grand kids.
Hawke served the U.S. Army from 1982-2011. He continues to serve the U.S. Government now and maintains his security clearance. Hawke's last Combat Job was Search & Rescue in Afghanistan, ending in April 2020. Mykel continues to support the Special Forces Community by working as a Consultant for Special Operations Command well into 2021.
