As Senior Producer of the Dot Film Company, Gerry Lattmann oversees
development, financing and production. The company's founding project,
The Putting Edge, an 8-minute short comedy was fully funded through the
Corus Young Filmmakers Initiative, in association with the CFTPA. The
film broadcast on YTV in 2005 and is currently being distributed by Big
Film Shorts.
Pria, The Dot Film Company's second and most notable short film, was produced in association with CBC's Mix Flicks program and was later aired on CBC's ZeD Program. Pria won the 1st Place Platinum Remi Award for Best Short Film within the Romantic Comedy category at WorldFest Houston 2005 and was also screened at the World Wide Short Film Festival in Toronto (2005) and the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival (2005) where it was nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award. Pria continues to receive accolades across North America.
Most recently, Gerry and associates have completed The Dot Film Company's debut feature film Things To Do. Shot on Super 16mm, this comedic drama was fully financed through private equity.
Gerry holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He later received an education from Sheridan College's Post Graduate Advanced Television and Film Program.
