Amitabha A Gupta is an Indian Actor/Director/Producer known for his work predominantly in the Indian Film Industry.Also known as Aamit Gupta, he was born on November 29, 1963 in a Bengali-speaking family. He completed his schooling from Campion School, Bhopal, MP, India. He is a University Gold Medalist in Chemical Engineering (National Institute of Tech, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India)and an MBA in Finance(IMS, Indore, MP, India). He has worked in the Indian Banking Sector in various senior positions in Delhi and Mumbai, till he left his Banking job in 2016 to pursue his passion full-time in films, as an Actor and Director. He pursued Theater in Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group under the able guidance of Shri Arvind Gaurji from 2010 to 2012 and has performed in multiple stage shows in Delhi and Kolkata. He is an Actor known for - Films:- Mission Mangal, Why Cheat India, Shakuntala Devi, Maidaan,Web Series:- Holycross, Memories, Zakhmi, Twisted 2, Love Sorries, State of Seige: 26/11, Inside Edge 2,Untouchables TV Serials:- Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kundli Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya, CID, Ishqbaaz, Peshwa Bajirao, Kavach, Shakti Ek Astitva, Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma, Sasural Simar Ka, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aisey Bhi and others. He is also a Writer/Director/ Producer known for "Musallam Imaan" and "Manto Kii Kahaaniya",currently streaming on Mx Player.
