- Amitabha A Gupta is an Indian Actor/Director/Producer known for his work predominantly in the Indian Film Industry.Also known as Aamit Gupta, he was born on November 29, 1963 in a Bengali-speaking family. He completed his schooling from Campion School, Bhopal, MP, India. He is a University Gold Medalist in Chemical Engineering (National Institute of Tech, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India)and an MBA in Finance(IMS, Indore, MP, India). He has worked in the Indian Banking Sector in various senior positions in Delhi and Mumbai, till he left his Banking job in 2016 to pursue his passion full-time in films, as an Actor and Director. He pursued Theater in Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group under the able guidance of Shri Arvind Gaurji from 2010 to 2012 and has performed in multiple stage shows in Delhi and Kolkata.
