Pete Rowe is a Director of Photography with over 30 years of experience in film and television and has photographed many BAFTA and Emmy award winning shows.
His work encompasses feature films, drama and comedy television series as well as commercials.
He started his career in documentaries, travelling all over the world to shoot in locations ranging from the Namibian desert to the snowfields of Siberia and beyond.
In around 2000 Pete moved into scripted work and has been the Director of Photography on many award winning shows for the BBC, Chanel 4 and Sky, including Friday Night Dinner, Miranda, Yonderland, Bad Education and several series with Steve Coogan's infamous TV presenter Alan Partridge.
His feature film work includes the big screen spin off of Bad Education with Jack Whitehall, the independent Romantic comedy Delicious, Hostages starring Charlotte Richie and Skys modern retelling of a Christmas Carol staring Suranne Jones.
He has recently completed three new episodes of the Bafta award winning Dodger, a family show based on the Dickens characters from Oliver.
