(1981) Nagma's father had turned director with Morarji Movies "O Sathi Re" Starring Vastavikta,Jaidev, Manik Chowdary,Mohan Choti, Kishore Jariwala,Nana Paliskar,Satyen Kappu, Dr. Shreeram Lagoo,Abhi Bhattacharji, Chand Usmani,Music by Ravindra Jain, Produced and Directed by Arvind P Moraji. The film got shelved.

(1990) Nagma was to debut in Aaj Ka Arjun but was dropped. Raadhika was then signed.

(1991) Sunil Shetty was signed for a film titled "Arzoo" opposite Nagma. This was to be produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. Starring Shatrughan Sinha, Sunil Shetty,Nagma,Raj Babbar,Madhavi. It was shelved due to a argument Sunil had with Pahlaj. Pahlaj claims the film was suppose to be start to finish film. He signed Deepak Shivdasani because he liked Baaghi. Pahlaj knew Shetty would be good in action films. But after seeing the rushes of the film,Pahlaj was shocked. Deepak Shivdsani casted Sunil Shetty as a musician with no action in the film. Fearing the film would bomb,Pahlaj decided it was best to shelve the film. Pahlaj knew that shelving the film would hurt Sunil Shetty. So he decided to announce 2 more films with Sunil so the industry would not back off and sign Sunil for other films. But then the stories started that Sunil Shetty was financing his own films and Pahlaj was only a front person.

(1991) Director Swaroop Kumar had spoken to Ayub Khan about the film Saughaat. He wanted to launch him in films. The film was going to be opposite Nagma. Ayub had told Swaroop he would think about it. Then without getting any confirmation from Ayub,Swaroop Kumar took out a ad in the paper that he was making Saughaat with Ayub Khan and Nagma. This angered Ayub and he officially told Swaroop he would not do the film. Years later Swaroop restarted the film with the title "Pehle Saughaat" with newcomers Sabah and Sanjay Mitra, with Suresh Oberoi,Anjana Mumtaz, Shehzaad Khan. Once again the film got
