- Sean Mulcahy was born on September 5, 1926 in Bantry, County Cork, Ireland. He was an actor, known for The Whiteoaks of Jalna (1972), Counterstrike (1990) and The Unforeseen (1958). He was married to Catherine Vaneri. He died on December 30, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

- He joined the Irish Army but, since Ireland was neutral in WWII, he transferred to the British Army. He later switched to the RAF, serving in Yemen and Egypt. He left in 1954 with the rank of flight lieutenant, the equivalent of captain in the army. He went to Canada in 1957 to pursue an career in acting.
