Aaron Carter’s sister, Angel Conrad, is opening up about losing her “selfless” twin, how she and older brother, Nick Carter, are carrying each through their grief and why the loss has “lit a fire” inside her to fight mental illness.
Aaron passed away in November following a long struggle with mental illness and addiction. He was 34. Amid her grief, Angel organized Wednesday’s star-studded West Hollywood benefit concert, Songs for Tomorrow, to celebrate Aaron’s life and generate conversation around mental illness.
“I will always remember Aaron as a selfless, goofy person, who ultimately just wanted to be loved,” Angel told Et Canada prior to the concert. “Unfortunately, he didn’t learn to love himself first, which is something a lot of people struggle with. In his own words, self-love meant self-respect and self-worth — he had a hard time with that.”

Lance Bass is opening old wounds for 20/20. The *Nsync member sat down with the ABC newsmagazine for "The Hitman From Pop to Prison," a two-hour special about Lou Pearlman and E! News has your exclusive sneak peek. Pearlman, who at one point served as manager for Backstreet Boys, *Nsync and O-Town, ran one of the biggest Ponzi schemes ever. He admitted to swindling investors and banks out of millions, and was the subject of fraud and misrepresentation lawsuits brought against him by the musicians he managed. Those client cases were eventually settled. The 20/20 special features new interviews with Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick of *Nsync, as well as O-Town's Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick and...

Ok, so its April 1st and I’m writing a review of a boy band zombie Western mashup starring members of Backstreet Boys, *Nsync, 98 Degrees and O-Town. Which comes from The Asylum, best know these days as the mockbuster company behind Sharknado and its (three) sequels…. I know, I know, it sounds like I’m taking the mick, but I swear to god this is Not a joke – this is a real movie. Well as real as an other Asylum/Syfy team-up!
For those interested in the plot (because, to be fair, most people will just watch this to see old boybands fighting zombies - which would actually be a great...

Put down your crimper, throw on your belly shirt and grab your Discman because the sound of the 1990s has come back to life and we want you to be prepared to hear it. More than two decades since they all first slid on to the music scene with their frosted tips and coordinating distressed denim, members of famed boy band groups the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, 98 Degrees and O-Town have lent their vocal stylings to a brand new song. Titled "In The End," the track is a theme song for the upcoming film Dead 7, written by Bsb's Nick Carter and starring Carter, 'N Sync's Joey Fatone, O-Town's Trevor Penick and Jacob Underwood and a handful of other former...

In what is essentially an update of the Seven Samurai story, Dead 7 has received a trailer. This comes from Syfy and The Asylum. That's really all I have the energy to say about it at this point.
the film stars stars Nick Carter (who co-wrote the screenplay), A.J. McLean, and Howie Dorough from The Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick from ’N Sync, Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees, and basically all of O-Town (Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller).
Synopsis:
This is a post-apocalyptic Western that follows a group of gunslingers as they look to rid a small town of a zombie plague.
Dead 7 is set to premiere Friday, April 1st at 8 p.m. on Syfy. I will not be tuning in.

It's been 15 years since O-Town made our "Liquid Dreams" come true. The boy band, who formed on season one of the reality TV series Making the Band, released their first album ("O-Town") on Jan. 23, 2001. Now, over a decade later, four of the band's members have reformed (Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller... minus Ashley Parker Angel) and are making new music and currently touring. "It was such a whirlwind back then," says Underwood. "We get to experience these fans who are now older bringing in pictures saying 'I was here, and I took this picture with you when I was 12, can we remake it?'" "Those memories now...

News: What is Ashley Parker Angel grabbing?
However, with the good, also came the bad. In this case, the bad was that the hunky heartthrob we couldn’t (and still) can’t get enough of, Ashley Parker Angel would not be joining Dan Miller, Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, and Trevor Penick on stage across the country.
Thankfully we had his countless incredible handsome selfies on Twitter to satisfy us for a while. Although we would prefer to have it “All or Nothing” at all.

Would you rather see Ashley Parker Angel wear it all ... or nothing at all?The former O-Town singer has been sharing a ton of half-naked photos on his Twitter page recently, including the just-uploaded Calvin Klein shot above. "Happy Hump Day," he captioned the pic, along with the hashtags "#fitnessaddict #fitspo #determination #gym."The 32-year-old has been on a health kick this year, saying he's "committed to getting in the best shape of my life in 2014" on his Instagram page. "Though I'm not exactly where I want to be yet - I'm as committed as ever to getting there." Parker's old boy band recently reunited without him and even released some brand new music. It's going to be tough to top "Liquid Dreams," but the O-Town guys—minus Ashley Parker Angel—are giving it their all! The reformed boy band just debuted the music video for "Skydive," and while there are no gelatinous female dancers or oh-so-2000 graphics for your visual enjoyment, it does show that Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick and Dan Miller have matured musically. Unlike when they first came onto the scene, the guys' comeback clip doesn't feature any dancing. Each member does, however, sing to the same attractive blond woman in a desert-like setting. And even though Ashley isn't taking part in O-Town's resurrection, he's got...

Ask and ye shall receive! O-Town's decade-long hiatus from music officially ended Wednesday when the boy band released the single "Skydive" from their upcoming album, Lines & Circles, due in August. Samuel Adams and Marcel Wildly wrote the ditty. "'Skydive' is a dramatic song," Trevor Penick says. "It starts with a simple piano and vocal, and by the end you hear a seventy-piece orchestra, and all four of us belting it out in four-part harmony. It's a mid-tempo, but there's a lot of energy in this song. There's intensity in the vocals, and the track is very dynamic. This song should take you for a ride." In a statement, O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada adds, "At...

Another "Making the Band" group is back! The guys of O-Town just released their first single in over a decade -- and while the group has gone from 5 men to a quartet, they've still got it.Dan Miller, Erik Estrada, Jacob Underwood and Trevor Penick dropped the song "Skydive" early Wednesday morning, the first tune from their upcoming "Lines & Circles" album dropping August 3, 2014."'Skydive' is a dramatic song. Apparently "All or Nothing" no longer applies to O-Town. The boy band is reuniting after 11 years as a quartet, as Ashley Parker Angel has decided to pursue other career opportunities. Original members Erik-Michael Estrada, Dan Miller, Trevor Penick and Jacob Underwood made the announcement Monday and have since rebooted their official website. The group, which formed during Making The Band in 2000, released two albums before breaking up four years later. Though they never matched the success of predecessors like the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, O-Town enjoyed success with the hit single "Liquid Dreams" and became a Trl staple. "We started this reunion purely for the fun of it,"...

In 2000, O-Town was the first group to break out of the reality show “ Making the Band ” -- and now, 11 years later, they’re finally back in the studio together! Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood , Dan Miller and Erik-Michael Estrada were all seen leaving an L.A. studio together after laying down tracks for a brand new album -- one they'll be making without original group member Ashley Parker Angel . Since Jacob lives in Nashville, the crew has been recording on and off for the past few weeks as he travels back and forth between the East and West Coast. A source at the studio tells TooFab the new songs are "coming great" and the group is aiming to have an album out by the end of the year. Singer/actor Ashley Parker Angel snubbed the chance to reunite with his O-Town bandmates because he wants to "move on" with his life. The "All or Nothing" hitmakers, who formed on the first season of MTV reality show "Making the Band" in 2000, announced earlier this week they are reforming as a four-piece, without Parker Angel.
He's now opened up about his decision not to rejoin his former bandmates - Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller - revealing he wants to concentrate on "the next chapter" of his career as an actor. Parker Angel tells TMZ.com, "O-Town was one of the greatest chapters of my life, so when the idea of a reunion was brought to me, of course I was intrigued."
"However, I have made the decision not to be a part of an O-Town reunion. It was a difficult decision, but ultimately necessary to move...
