- Bernard Herrmann's score for "On Dangerous Ground" features a prominent solo part for the viola d'amore, which Virginia Majewski played during the recording sessions. Subsequently, Herrmann was so impressed with Majewski's talent he suggested she get special screen credit. When the producers demurred, Herrmann's then insisted on sharing his own title card with her.
