Maurice McRae stumbled into acting during his freshman year at Morehouse College. Originally a pre-medicine major, he found his passion in theater.
With a Master's in Acting from Rutgers University, Maurice has graced stages from New York to Los Angeles, making his Broadway debut in Lynn Nottage's SWEAT.
For years, Maurice had a dual career as an Federal Emergency Management official, ascending through the ranks at The Department of Homeland Security. Before leaving to pursue his creative endeavors full-time, Maurice was Chief of Staff, the third highest ranking person in his jurisdiction.
Maurice recently founded Glass Rabbit Ventures, LLC, his production company which has exciting collaborations on the horizon in 2024. One such production is a documentary highlighting the lack of land ownership of African Americans.
