He was also Tony-nominated five other times: in 1958, as producer of Best Play nominee "Two for the Seesaw;" and then, with associate Arthur Cantor, in 1961, as producer of Best Play nominee "All the Way Home," in 1962, as Best Producer (Dramatic) and as producer of Best Play nominee "Gideon;" and in 1963, as producer of Best Play nominee "A Thousand Clowns."
