The new fall TV season is here and we’ve already started discovering some uncomfortable truths. Why didn’t ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime‘ premiere on Oct. 3 with ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Law & Order: Svu?’
Are they finally cancelling it and calling it a day? Well, the reason for it is not that simple, and luckily not that grim.
NBC Won’t Air Any Episode Of ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’
Let’s just say that the whole ‘Organized Crime’ situation could have been worse. Yes, NBC won’t be airing any episodes of the detective drama, but that doesn’t mean it’s the last we’ll see of our beloved characters and hated criminal masterminds.
And this is good news indeed, because can you imagine closing the chapter with the massive cliffhanger they ended season 4 with?
Obviously we want to know whether Joe Stabler Jr. will survive...

Not so long ago, NBC’s hit show Found would have had Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton) keep her former English teacher and captor Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) in the basement for another season or two. But that way of doing TV, says Found creator/showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, has passed. “Not in this day and age, with streaming and binge-watching and how aggressively our audience moves through content… if we’d created this show maybe 10 years ago, we probably could have,” she explained to The Hollywood Reporter from the show’s set in Atlanta.
“It was a much more traditional TV watching model then,” Carroll added of television’s past, when there were 22-episode seasons that ran once live then again in re-runs in the summer. “Not just our industry, but our audience has changed the way they consume content. Over the years, it's become more and more difficult for new shows to make it to a second year. Found was NBC's highest-rated new show of last season but it was still a middle-of-the-road performer. Will the ratings improve this time around? Will Found be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
A crime and mystery drama series, the Found TV show stars Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi. The story revolves around Gabi Mosely (Hampton), a recovery specialist who, years ago, was one of the many people who are reported missing in the United States each year. Her time with her captor, Sir (Gosselaar), helped shape her into who she is today. Gabi and her crisis management team work to find missing people overlooked by the system.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Found Season 2 premiere “Missing While Bait.”] “Season 2 is going to be a roller coaster,” Found star Arlen Escarpeta promises. The premiere, “Missing While Bait,” proves just that. Yes, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), after ending last season hiding in Lacey’s (Gabrielle Walsh) apartment, did kidnap her. But as the premiere revealed, he also went after Zeke (Escarpeta) and Margaret (Kelli Williams), poisoning their food; the latter was stopped before she could take a bite, but the former wasn’t so lucky. The good news is Zeke’s going to be okay. The bad news is Sir is still out there and still has Lacey. Watch the video above for what Escarpeta thought would happen next after last season’s finale, the potential for any Zeke-Sir interactions this season, and more. Then, read on as he breaks down the premiere and how he’s doing in the aftermath of Gabi’s (Shanola Hampton...

In NBC’s Found, Gabi Mosely (played by Shanola Hampton) dedicates her life to finding the marginalized individuals who’ve slipped through the cracks. That’s because back in 2003, she as a kidnaped teen — alongside a newly abducted Bella — tried and eventually succeeded in escaping their captor, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). The drama series’ premiere, which aired almost a year ago, famously ended with the reveal that grown-up Gabi has been keeping Sir in her basement, chained to a wall!
Sir proved useful to Gabi throughout Season 1, using his uniquely twisted mindset to help her crisis management firm, Mosely & Associates (M&a), crack cases.

The scenes between Shanola Hampton‘s Gabi and Mark-Paul Gosselaar‘s Sir may be tense on-screen on Found, but as TV Insider’s exclusive first look at Season 2 shows, they’re a lot of fun together when they’re not in character. While that changes the fabric of the show, Gosselaar doesn’t think that fans will be disappointed. “I’m very, very, very pleased, very excited for our fans and our audience to watch the second season because everything that we built up in the first season, there is going to be a payoff,” the actor told journalists during the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “I feel like shows find themselves in a position where it’s hard to maintain, but I feel like we’ve...

Shanola Hampton told TV Insider that there’s a different kind of cat-and-mouse game with Gabi and Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) in Found Season 2, and the trailer shows just how true that is. At the end of Found Season 1, Gabi’s secret, that she’d been keeping her former kidnapper Sir captive in her basement, was out to the rest of her M&a team—Margaret (Kelli Williams), Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh), Zeke (Arlen Escarpeta), and Dhan (Karan Oberoi)—and Sir was free. But as Gabi, upon realizing Sir was responsible for poisoning Lacey’s dog, called to warn her, it was revealed that Sir was hiding in Lacey’s closet. Now, the trailer reveals that Sir has taken Lacey, for the second time (he kidnapped her as a child when he had Gabi). “Hello, Gabrielle. I’m not in the basement anymore,” Sir, just as chilling as ever, tells her when she answers a payphone.

Her character was an important one to the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, not just for the show, but because of the relationship her character had.
Maya is the current captain and former lieutenant of Station 19 of the Seattle Fire Department.
Maya’s wife (Carina DeLuca-Bishop) popped by Station 19 but should return to Grey’s Anatomy in the fall. It led to rumors that Maya could also appear on Grey’s Anatomy.
That doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

We've all been there before.
You fall in love with a show. You fall in love with the characters. You fall in love with a Universe. And then, suddenly, without warning, your favorite show is canceled, and you feel a tremendous loss.
Television can be a comfort to many, and when you find that show or that perfect character that you connect with, it downright sucks to know you won't get to see them anymore.
Over the years, many shows have been cut short ahead of their time.
While others may have had a decent run, with years under their belt, the cancellation can still feel abrupt, especially when they don't get to end the series on their own terms.
We've seen fan campaigns change studios' minds and cancellations reversed at the last minute (S.W.A.T. says hi!), but unfortunately, most shows don't have that same luck.

Television shows seem well-organized and choreographed. Yet, not everything about them always goes according to plan.
For example, an incidental character sometimes steals a scene and creates memorable television history.
Then, there are the characters who take things a step further by stealing scenes repeatedly until they become the stars themselves.
Particular characters, such as Dr. Gregory House on House, are often created to be standouts. Yet, occasionally, those main protagonists are entirely overshadowed.
In rare instances, characters who were supposed to be incidental became regulars and took over entire shows.
The Fonz on Happy Days (1974-1984)
Happy Days underwent several changes, including the recasting and eventual disappearance of Chuck Cunningham's character, but Arthur (The Fonz) Fonzarelli's addition most dramatically altered the show's trajectory.
Initially, Happy Days focused on the Cunningham family, especially teenager Richie (Ron Howard). The Fonz (Henry Winkler) was a side character. However, the motorcycle-riding, leather jacket-wearing greaser soon took over.

Since it premiered in January 2023, ABC's Will Trent has been a massive hit. The network just renewed the series for a third season, and the Gbi and Apd will return to solve more cases.
The renewal wasn't much of a surprise because Will Trent's ratings have risen to 4.8 million viewers and a .4 in the demo.
What makes Will Trent so intriguing to watch? Why is it different from other police procedurals? There are many reasons, but at its core are the characters.
Based on Karin Slaughter's best-selling novels, the hour-long procedural focuses on Special Agent Will Trent of the Gbi.
While no two series are the same, Will Trent is most similar to The Mentalist and Mobk, whose protagonists also see key details differently than most investigators. Adrian Monk also had a dark past, and digging into a character's past allows for more interesting storylines.
Will Trent Connects the Characters to the Cases.

As painful as it was to watch almost all of Mosley & Associates walk out on Gabi (Shanola Hampton) after she revealed to them she’d been keeping her kidnapper Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) in her basement (and he escaped) — except Dhan (Karan Oberoi), who dealt with that blow before that — in the Found Season 1 finale, there’s more heartbreak to come because there’s still someone who doesn’t know: Trent (Brett Dalton). The detective did have reason to suspect something was going on, after Gabi referred to Sir in the present tense to him, something he noted to Margaret (Kelli Williams). But there are also his feelings for Gabi to consider; the two have a history, but she’s put a stop to anything happening now due to the situation with Sir. There’s also the matter of where she is in her healing to understandably consider. When Trent does find out,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Found Season 1 finale “Missing While Forgotten.”] The truth comes out in the Found Season 1 finale — and the way it does makes it even more painful than we expected. The episode begins with Gabi (Shanola Hampton) discovering that Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) has escaped her basement, where she had her kidnapper chained up, and she and Dhan (Karan Oberoi) realize he must still think she’s missing. Though she wants to immediately tell the rest of Mosley & Associates — especially Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh), whom Sir had also kidnapped as a kid — a priority case requires them to keep everyone’s focus on that missing person. But once that case is over and after Gabi realizes that Sir, still out there, will never stop hunting her, she tells Lacey, Margaret (Kelli Williams), and Zeke (Arlen Escarpeta). All we see is her joining them in the conference room and their heartbreaking reactions before one by one,...

Shanola Hampton doesn’t think audiences are really prepared for what’s about to go down in the Found season finale.
The NBC series wraps its first season on Tuesday with an episode that the star told Deadline left her “in awe.”
After the penultimate episode, when Hampton’s Gabi Moseley finally revealed to her M&a colleague Dhan [Karan Oberoi] that she’d not only been been holding her kidnapper Sir [Mark-Paul Gosselaar] captive in her basement but using him to help solve the firm’s missing persons cases, her carefully kept secret seems like it’s close to unraveling. According to Hampton, the final episode will feature a moment between Gabi and the rest of the M&a crew that is so raw, she had a visceral reaction to filming the scene.
“By the end of it, Gabi ends up in the fetal position on the ground,” she said.
