[This story contains spoilers from the Oct. 17 episode of Law & Order: Svu, “Divide and Conquer.”]
Kelli Giddish left Law & Order: Svu in December 2022, midway through its 24th season on NBC — but she hasn’t gone far.
The actress, who played Detective Amanda Rollins for 12 seasons of the crime drama, has reprised her role several times since then. And even when she’s not on screen, the character is still a part of the show’s world, as Rollins is married to Ada Sonny Carisi (Peter Scanavino). Thursday’s episode sees Rollins back with the NYPD as a sergeant in the department’s intelligence division, working a case that overlaps with her longtime colleague and friend Capt. Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) Special Victims Unit.
“It’s like, ‘Ok, let’s go,'” Giddish tells The Hollywood Reporter about returning to the Svu set with season 26. “I worked with all those people for so long, and it’s a character I love to play.

Top of the mornin’ to you on this St. Patrick’s Day! To celebrate, we here at Arrow in the Head decided to mark the occasion by going back over the Leprechaun movies and ranking them from worst to first. The Leprechaun Movies Ranked list can be seen below – check it out and let us know how you would rank the movies!
Leprechaun: Origins (2014)
This is appalling. Director Zach Lipovsky, writer Harris Wilkinson, and WWE Studios were given the chance to make a new Leprechaun movie, they cast a professional wrestler (Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl) as the title character, and then they just churned out a dull monster movie. I don’t know how anyone involved thought this was a good idea (“You know what we should do? Take everything people liked about Leprechaun and remove it!”) or how Leprechaun: Origins made it through production. The story follows Americans backpacking through...

The track will appear on Body Count’s upcoming album, Merciless, which is set to arrive on November 22nd. The rap-metal band puts a new spin on the Pink Floyd song, with new lyrics delivered by frontman Ice-t.
“For me, ‘Comfortably Numb’ is an introspective song — it’s me acknowledging that I’m older now,” stated Ice-t. “I’m telling the younger generation, you’ve got two choices: you can keep the fire burning or you can give up. It’s me trying to make sense of what’s happening, but also pointing out that we’re all in a place where we don’t have to face reality.”

For over two decades now, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has shone a light on harrowing crimes and brought justice for survivors. Through it all, one woman’s steady guidance has anchored the show: Captain Olivia Benson. Played with nuanced empathy by Mariska Hargitay, Benson started as a detective and worked her way up, solving cases while navigating personal struggles we’ve watched alongside her.
Now, as Season 26 begins, Benson leads a new generation of investigators. But how does this latest batch of episodes hold up? What issues are explored, and how successfully? Let’s take a look behind the scenes of this historic series to find out where it’s going.
The season premiere introduces a disturbing crime on a college campus. Meanwhile, newest special agent Kate Silva joins the squad, determined to prove herself. We also reconnect with beloved veterans like Sonny Carisi, now an Assistant District Attorney.

“Griselda” star Juliana Aidén Martinez played Miami Detective June Hawkins in the Netflix series, but she joins “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” Thursday night as a very different kind of law enforcement officer — her new character Detective Kate Silva’s father just so happens to be deputy commissioner with the NYPD.
Ahead of the Season 26 premiere on NBC, the actress told TheWrap that she was blown away by the warm welcome she got from “Svu” mainstay Mariska Hargitay, who gave her a “huge bear hug” when they first met, even though Martinez was merely still auditioning for the role at the time.
Martinez also detailed the “indescribable feeling” of filming on the streets of New York as part of such a well-known franchise and how the Miami native considers the city her “second home.”

Mariska Hargitay and Ice-t (the two longest-running actors on a primetime TV series) return to lead the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Svu) cast as Svu Captain Olivia Benson and Sergeant Odafin Tutuola, respectively.
2024 already saw the return of the fan-favorite characters with the release of Law & Order: Svu Season 25, meaning that Season 26 will mark the second season to be released within the same calendar year.
Season 25 was notably shorter than other installments as it only included 13 episodes instead of the Svu standard, which is 19-23. However, fans are expecting Season 26 to go back to its standard format in Season 26.

Even before he was federally indicted on charges of bribery, wire fraud, and soliciting campaign contributions from a foreign national, New York mayor Eric Adams had his share of Wtf moments. Shark Tank completely changed the television genre with its unique concept when it premiered in 2009. Based on the British TV series Dragon’s Den, it showcases contestants making business pitches to a panel of five venture capitalists or “Sharks.” At the same time, it’s still a dream for many to showcase their ideas on this platform.

Ice-t doesn’t have the time or patience for any “political s***” as he shut down a Law & Order: Svu fan who claimed the long-running show has gone “woke.” The rapper and actor, who has played NYPD detective/sergeant Odafin Tutuola on the NBC drama since 2000, hit back at a social media user on Tuesday, August 27, after being asked, “Did they write Svu back to normal yet? It started to go woke.” Ice-t quoted the post on X (formerly Twitter), responding, “What the F is Woke? lol Like I give a F***.” What the F is Woke? lol Like I give a Fuck. https://t.co/qVHbgWnhxD — Ice T (@Finallevel) August 27, 2024 Following his post, a Maga parody account jokingly explained what “woke” meant, writing, “Woke means tearing down my John Wayne statues and forcing me to erect a Spider-Man fountain that sprays gay beer on my lawn that turns it into astroturf.

As far as police procedural dramas are concerned, you need not look further than the Law & Order franchise, one of the longest-running franchises of all time. Law & Order started off in the 90s with the series of the same name and has since produced numerous spin-offs, some of which have been more successful, others less.
Among these spin-offs, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is – by far – the most successful one, as the series is now heading into its 26th season, which is absolutely amazing in a market where series rarely survive 4-5 seasons and that is if they are really, really good (and with far fewer episodes than Svu).
But, like many shows, Svu has also come under scrutiny by some “fans,” who seem to have rejected the show because it had seemingly “gone woke.” In a recent Twitter exchange, rapper and actor Ice T rejected this claim...

Ice-t has brushed off recent criticism that Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has become too “woke” in its recent seasons.
The 66-year-old actor, who has played Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on the NBC crime show since 2000, replied to a fan’s comment on social media platform X. When the fan asked if the show had gone back to “normal” after supposedly becoming “woke,” Ice-t responded honestly, saying he didn’t really understand what “woke” meant and didn’t care much about such criticisms.
Ice-t’s role as Tutuola is the second longest-running character in the show’s history, surpassed only by Mariska Hargitay‘s Olivia Benson. In a January interview, the actor described Svu as a “special” series, noting its unique impact on viewers.

Ice-t is a divorced man – sort of.
From his humble beginnings as a underground rapper in the 1980’s to his long career on Law & Order: Svu, Ice-t is a fan favorite celebrity for a multitude of reasons.
But among them is his relationship with his wife, Coco Austin, and the family they have built together.
So, to talk about Ice-t being divorced is a big deal, and while rumors about his marriage have been swirling all throughout their 20+ years together, we’re here to separate the fact from the fiction.
Are Ice-t and Coco still together? Yes. Is the longest-running male actor on television still divorced? Also, yes – but it’s a bit more complicated than that.
Let us explain.
