- Peter Bonke was born on December 24, 1942 in Denmark. He is an actor, known for Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret (1967), Un village français (2009) and Le choc (1982).
- Grew up on a farm on the Danish island of Lolland.
- Received a scholarship from the ministry of culture in 1975 and moved to Paris. However, he had to work as a waiter in the beginning in order to make ends meet.
- Started his career in his native Denmark, but has since appeared in a large number of movies and TV-movies in France.
- 1998: Read texts from philosopher Søren Kierkegaard and artist Asger Jorn at the Copenhagen City Museum.
