Gu (2024)
Nice Movie, try not to miss the theatre experience
I wanted to watch this movie on initial release but I couldn't as it wasn't released in any of my nearby theatres . So I thought I missed something big. Then they rereleased it.
If I would have missed it in theater then it would have been a huge loss for me. Plot is good and interesting. Making is really good. Hope people get to know about this movie much more, just because they didn't casted any big heads in the movie most of the people are not willing to watch, people should change.
There is no major twists in movie the plot is simple made well. Even though it is a horror movie it is ok for kids and family. I think this will really work for family audience.
NB: this is my review as a common audience, not a cinema critic.
Jai Ganesh (2024)
Average Movie Only (my personal opinion)
Watched this movie with lot of expectations as the rating and reviews were too high. But I didn't felt it that good for 9.5 rating. Story is ok, and the making also, but may be it wasn't my cup of tea. I won't say it was a waste of money, but not the best either.
I didn't felt it as a good investigation thriller movie, felt like I need a better knowledge in cyber security and all to understand it more.
Unni Mukundan was good, he handled the role of a handicapped guy pretty much well. I am really glad that they didn't brought a cliche of the hero getting cured through a miracle at the end.
Overall the movie is onetime watchable. A.
The Goat Life (2024)
Never miss this Epic Creation
Excellent movie by Blessy & crew. I was really waiting for the movie for years. It was worth the hype.
Movie is based on the novel of same name by Benyamin which is taken from most of the real life incidents happened to a migrant worker in Gulf. The novel was really good, and director Blessy did made a best movie out of it. All of the crew deserves the credit, especially Prithviraj the protagonist of the story, Gokul, Jimmy Jean-Louis. Their dedication deserves great appreciation.
Sunil KS's cinematography did gave life to movie, he did captured the beauty and beasts in the desert.
With such a sound design by Resul Pookutty, he made it sure that the audience should feel what characters were going through.
And of course the music by ARR will be running in our heads for a while, masterpiece.
Don't be that fool who miss the theater experience and says "that's Ok, I'll wait for OTT".
Malaikottai Vaaliban (2024)
well crafted movie
Not suggested for those who just expect a mass periodic movie. This is more than that. Never miss a theater experience and wait for OTT, this is crafted for big screen. The colors he used in it was extraordinary, You'll start with Crimson Red and Desert Sand Brown in the first half and you'll know the mighty of yellow in the second, I have never admired those colors before. Those colors will take you to 2 different situations where Valiban's mightiness and other's betrayal that covers his mightiness.
Only drawbacks I felt that the movie is more likely an intro for the sequel, I felt it little lagged on the first half, second half was better when comparing. Because even though Valiban is an extremally powerful being or avatar as per the climax, we don't get to see that much of fiction or fantasy (may be something like hanuman that he don't know his powers) we'll get to see in the second part. Eagerly waiting for the second part.
