- Jenny Slate's character was originally referred to as 'Big Nose' in the theatrical release. Due to associations with Jewish stereotypes, the character's name was changed to 'Debbie the Dog Mom' in the credits for the digital and DVD/Blu-Ray releases.
- In July 2022, a special extended version of the film was released in theaters, which included an introduction from directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and an eight-minute blooper reel.
- The Japanese theatrical version contains an exclusive theme song called "Premium World", sung by Kohmi Hirose. When she received a contract from Japanese film distributor Gaga Corporation and had an opportunity to see the film herself after the release, Kohmi Hirose was surprised but convinced by the content of the film that can synchronize with her own theme song.
