I didn't hate "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". The film is about Sideshow Bob talking to the audience about Halloween. He's in the Simpson family's home and they're tied up. Is Bob gonna kill them? No, but he sings a song with Disney villains like Hades from "Hercules". The song is a parody of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and it's actually not bad. I probably won't remember it in, say, a week, but it at least didn't sound awful.
Kelsey Grammer voices Bob once again and he did a great job. The voice acting and singing from the cast are really good. I found the film to be kinda funny. I also enjoyed the animation. The film wasn't lazily made, although maybe the jokes could've been funnier. I didn't care for the gag of Bob getting hit with a rake. It was great in the "Cape Feare" episode, which came out decades ago, but in this film, it's just predictable. I wonder if the writers themselves are bored with it because of what Bob says at the end.
I've seen some of the other Disney+ "Simpsons" films. They're generally OK, although I didn't like "May the 12th Be with You". "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is definitely among the OK ones. It's not hilarious, but it's not incredibly unfunny either. Happy Halloween!
