This film is based on the true story of a man who had everything you could want, but was still a cold, arrogant person at heart, living only for himself, and for the moment. A man who believed himself to be invincible and untouchable.
But when he gets arrested and thrown into a dark and grimy prison, losing everything he has in the process, he truly hits rock bottom, and only then begins to realize his need for God's mercy. The transformation that you see is truly stunning, and wonderful to behold.
The movie has its dark moments, and some scenes are difficult to watch, but the film is ultimately about God's mercy, second chances, redemption, and that He can and will help anyone who is willing to cry out to Him, even in the midst of the deepest despair, and hopeless situations.
There is a climactic ending that will absolutely shock you, but lift u your soul and spirit at the same time, and I highly recommend you see this with your loved ones, or anyone that you care about!
