The film was shelved for a decade and finally released in 2013.
The Central Board of Film Certification, India's certificate at the beginning of the movie mentions movie name as 'Pyar Jhukta Nahin', however, the opening credit names it as 'Deewana Mein Deewana'. The Certificate also has release date as 20-09-2006.
Priyanka Chopra disassociated herself from the film.
The film was titled " Ek Haseena Ek Deewana" then it was changed to " Pyar Jhukta Nahin".Finally the producer decided on a new and final title.
