The last time we caught up with Perseus (Sam Worthington), Zeus (Liam Neeson), Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Co. in 2010's "Clash of the Titans," the gods were playing around with human lives, the Kraken was released and destroyed, and Perseus was asked to join the ranks on Mount Olympus. And although we've long known about the film's sequel "Wrath of the Titans," we haven't had a clear look at what we'll be getting into when it opens next March, until now.

Sony Music, India has created a viral phenomenon, the likes of which have never before been seen in India for the Tanglish musical hit ‘Why this Kolaveri Di‘. In just two weeks the song has become an anthem in India and has crossed over the international markets. Having reached: +15 million You Tube Streams, +3.6 million Facebook shares, the #kolaveri hash tag on Twitter trending with tweets from media watchers, journalists, fans, industry barons, Celebrities, and pretty much everyone. The music is composed by an 21-year-old prodigal talent Anirudh. Sung by the actor and lyricist of the song Dhanush, ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ is genre bending with comical lyrics that adds to its popularity.

It is the first regional language (Tamil) song ever to see a high rotation on Mainstream Music Channels, and get play listed on 43 Radio Stations Pan India. It is safe to say that the entire nation has joined...

"All My Children" and "One Life To Live" are both dead, after all.

Following their cancellations by longtime network ABC in April, it was announced that internet distributor Prospect Park had licensed the rights to the shows and would continue them on a new online network. Now, Prospect Park is suspending their attempts to broadcast the shows, too.

"We believed the timing was right to launch an Online TV Network anchored by these two iconic soap operas," the company said in a statement, "but we always knew it would be an uphill battle to create something historical, and unfortunately we couldn't ultimately secure the backing and clear all the hurdles in time. We believe we exhausted all reasonable options apparent to us, but despite enormous personal, as well as financial cost to ourselves, we failed to find a solution."

Earlier in the month, Prospect Park announced that "All My Children,...

"All My Children" and "One Life To Live" won't be coming to the Internet after all.

On Wednesday, Prospect Park, the online company that had said it would be bringing the canceled soaps to the Web, released a statement announcing that the deal had fallen through.

There were signs of trouble earlier in the month, when the online debut of "All My Children" was delayed.

The soap operas were canceled in April, but Prospect Park soon signed a licensing deal and announced the now-doomed plan to bring the shows online.

Sorry, soap fans: The painful economics of running soap operas on the internet have made it impossible to keep the shows alive after they’ve been yanked off of broadcast TV. Prospect Park announced today that its plan to move One Life to Life and All My Children to a planned Online Network in 2012 has been shuttered, dashing any hope of keeping Llanview and Pine Valley fans satiated.

The media and production company founded in 2009 by Jeffrey Kwatinetz and former Disney Studios head Rich Frank was unable to reach guild deals to make the soaps’ run on the internet a reality.

Prospect Park is now confirming what our sister site Deadline first reported Wednesday morning: Plans to continue axed ABC sudsers One Life to Live and All My Children online have been abandoned.

Prospect Park’s Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz issued the following statement confirming the news:

Unless we find an angel, our television program will go off the air at the end of its current season. There. I've said it. Usually in television, people use evasive language. Not me. We'll be gone. I want to be honest about why this is. We can't afford to finance it any longer.

The program has a coverage of more than 90% of the country, and all of the top 50 markets. Our ratings place us among the top shows on public television, and compare to the ratings of cable news. And we have loyal and vocal followers. Whenever our show is pre-empted for any reason we get immediate e-mails, calls and letters from viewers looking for it. We have also had cordial relations with the programmers and station managers across the country.

Adele has said that Amy Winehouse is flying in paradise, after she was found dead at her Camden home at the age of 27 on Saturday. The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer wrote a blog post about Winehouse's influence on her and British music as a whole. A common thread in many of the stories about the death of Amy Winehouse is the huge influence the "Back to Black" singer had on a new generation of young vocalists. This was the first ever superhero comic. Not only did it start everything off, the first image of the story is incredible. It's Superman – who was an unknown character at that time – leaping through the air with a tied-up blonde under his arm, with absolutely no explanation of how he got there, or why. What I like about it is that, as a piece of storytelling, it's very modernistic, and having always thought about it in terms of nostalgia, when I was researching it for the book it was great to go back and see it for what it was. What a bitter defeat for Rupert Murdoch. His News Corp this morning just finally made clear it has withdrawn its bid for full control of British Sky Broadcasting. The news comes as British lawmakers were about to demand that Murdoch give up his goal of taking complete control over the lucrative U.K. broadcaster in a $14 billion bid for the 61% of the pay-tv operator that News Corp doesn't already own outright. News Corp wanted to get its hands on all the UK satellite giant's swelling £5.7 billion ($9 billion) revenues. It would have cemented Rupert’s position as the most powerful media baron in Britain and this as the biggest deal of his storied career. Last week saw the annual London Italian Film Festival showcase a week of exciting new Italian cinema at Ciné Lumière. This year’s raft of 10 titles was picked by Irene Bignardi and two Film London’s Adrian Wootton. They chose well. Very well, indeed. The festival continues throughout March at the Italian Cultural Institute with an homage to Federico Fellini and Mario Monicelli and a series of screenings focused on film and food.

While there are no mentions of Terrence Malick, Variety are confirming the obvious (view my predictions) in Aronofsky's Black Swan, Reichardt's Meek's Cutoff, Corbijn's The American, Schnabel's Miral, Coppola's Somewhere, Kechiche's Black Venus, Ozon's Potiche, Tykwer's Three and Cordier's Happy Few all making it to the Lido this year, but they've added a couple more brow lifters that I'll delve into below.
