This is not thomas
I love both the model and CGI versions of Thomas. I didn't hate BWBA that much either, but this is a whole new level. Even magic railroad is a great compared to this. This has tons and TONS of problems. First of all, why are the voice actors mostly all kids? The voice acting is simply terrible. Next, it's unrealistic. A lot of why Thomas was so good was because of how realistic it was. Now the engines are basically using their wheels as hands. There is no physics at all, and it is no longer as fun to watch crashes. The animation is obviously budget, and it is way to cartoony for Thomas. The sound effects are horrible too. Did I mention that there is no James, Edward, and Toby? And Gordon is basically the new fat controller. And diesel is now friends with Thomas. Oh, and Carly has wheels now? I don't get it. And also, the new theme song is also terrible. Like previously, Thomas had such good music. I think the CGI era had as good or maybe even better music than the model era. But this? The songs are just bad. Also, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS TRAIN SCHOOL?? Watch the old Thomas, don't waste your time with this garbage. This is a disgrace.

Very bad
This is an insult to anyone who remotely says they like Thomas. Mattel is killing this franchise from its toys to the actual seasons of the show and now a crappy reboot. Is this show good for toddlers, maybe. But to anyone else it is a pile of hot garbage. If you are watching this with your kids or by yourself I highly assume you will want to glue your ears and eyes shut.

All Engines Go destroyed the legacy of Thomas & Friends and Wilbert Awdry's creation!
Awful
It makes me cry seeing what this franchise went from. It is got dumber year by year. Rev must be slamming his head if he saw this degradation of his works.

Wtf
Pretty bad
I have not seen anything Tomas related before and this was not a good introduction. It looks like every other show on the market nowadays. I will not be showing this to my kids and I will try to show them something of quality.

What on earth we're they thinking?
What is the point of this cartoon? You have the characters and the brand, but seeing as the heart, soul and point of Thomas have been so ripped out, it looks like they are merely used cynically to have an automatic audience. It would've been more appropriate for Mattel to create entirely new characters, given the radical gear shift, and created a new Mighty Express or Chuggington.
Some of us care about Reverend Awdry's legacy and the world he created. It has endured for of all the reasons the creators of this series feels it can so easily jettison. The realism of the trains, their personalities which match their class and usage. Showing how railways actually work and how engines and other machinery work together.
Generations of children understand this and respond to this and even the more creative CGI series of late have these values at their heart. Thomas directly inspires my son's interest with steam railways and I'm sure Thomas boosts visitor tickets to these places. Legions of autistic children and adults who have a special interest in railways are loyal to this show, just look at the fan videos on YouTube.
This show and the characters are not Thomas and Friends. They were never meant to be children and never meant to leap about track to track, or for the stories to be fast paced or even cartoonised. If the creators think that Thomas is no longer relevant then they needed to do the decent thing and shelve or cancel it. This stinks of cynicism and has no respect for the show, it's history or it's creator. My hope is that Thomas will eventually be restored to his former glory. Oh, and John Hasler was an awesome Thomas, what a waste.

Bring back the original!
As a child growing up in the 90's Thomas introduced me to so many mechanical and historically important steam train related facts that as an adult to two young children would like to see them educated similarly.
Watched this garbage the other day with them and was horrified. From the awful Children choir introduction sing along, to the flexy/leaning on 3 wheels round a bend nonsense to the excruciatingly annoying narrator on the Thomas voice especially.
I still relate 30 years on to Edward gradually picking his coaches up one by one in order to pull the heavy train, Thomas fitting his snow plow and Henry being punished and bricked up in the tunnel for being mardy.
All the above contributed to me as a child having a good basic understanding of the railway, steam engines and array of vehicles used within it. Helicopters, tractors, traction engines, buses etc.. but also how to deal with situations in general life as a youngster. The characters were so strong it helped me understand what was good, bad, fair and honest.
Seems silly writing this as it shouldn't matter, but can't hide the fact it does. My Mrs thinks i'm nuts. Thankfully I can show them the original Rev Awdrey design via you tube. I bet he would be angered to see his legacy destroyed.
Shame, totally spoiled. Scrap this before kids and adults alike ditch it!

Fantastic fun show
Thomas and Friends All Engines Go! Is a fun and brilliant show that teaches children valuable life lessons, like how to be kind, solve issues in life, overcome emotions and how to handle other situations, like when other people are having a hard day, or when a grown up is in a bad mood or having trouble coping. There's even a brake car called Bruno that gets overwhelmed when there's chaos or a lot of noise or panic, who steams on some headphones to keep calm and think the problem through, I can relate to him XD
This is one of my favourite shows to watch with the kids and they love it too. Give it a go!

A decent preschool show, but could've done better
I know this series has gathered a lot of hate during the past few months, but if you ask me, All Engines Go is the perfect genre of preschool revival; taking a very cherished property, toning down its' characters to appeal to the target audience (even if some might be scared), and providing a Sesame Street kind of feeling where the series' most popular characters live, work and play together while learning life's most important lessons along the way. Not only that, but the guy behind it all, Ricky Suvalle, seems genuinely passionate about the franchise's legacy and, despite the executive meddling from his superiors, supposedly knew it well. Although this series wasn't created purely from the crew's respect, Nelvana's animation feels alive, carefree and reminds me of Mixels for obvious reasons. Again, I get that you probably want this to die, but we'll have to live with it for a while, and in the end, all I have to say is this: All Engines Go is okay, but it probably won't last long.
That's not a true Thomas and Friends show!

I won't show this to my future kids.
I saw All Engines Go when it came out on Cartoon Network and I do not like it for reasons. Thomas & Friends has always been a long time running British Show for years and still holds up the popularity to this day until this Separated American Show came along. The realism of Railway is so very low and cartoony in this then Thomas & Friends where it percent how real engines do and when they are driven by their Drivers and Firemens. The big number one question I have is, If they do that well off-track, why do they even need the tracks? And Annie & Clarabelle can literally move by themselves which is a huge shock. If All Engines Go is strictly made for 2- year olds, then I wanted to see Thomas & Friends return with CGI Series 25 in Future for all ages to enjoy T&F and for 2-3 year olds to enjoy AEG and they might like Thomas & Friends better when they get older, so both T&F and AEG would run and continue separately. But if only AEG runs and not T&F, then I would forget about this show.

Have no ties to old show
As a show for my 2-year old, it's great, features a new song almost every episode and characters she can identify with along with simple story arcs. If you're looking for a show for your CHILD and not a cartoon as a 30-40 year old to relive your childhood this show does its job.
There are plenty of female characters and characters with their own issues that they are dealing with in each episode. The colors, animation and overall look are happy, as well as the songs and the conversations that take place between the characters. The show focuses on the trains and less on people on the town and because it's a cartoon extends disbelief as the trains can do more than go forward or backwards on a track.

OK
While not as good as the original Thomas & Friends, for what it is, it's OK.
