- TriviaThe title "Hooligan's Island" is a nod to Gilligan's Island (1964). The classic American sitcom depicted Gilligan, the first mate of the S.S Minnow who along with the ship's captain and some of the passengers are marooned on a tropical island. In the live show, Richie and Eddie are both marooned on a tropical island.
- GoofsWhen Richie is about to vomit on the Welsh cannibals for the second time, he is seen holding the garden hose for the vomit.

Good, but not my favourite out of all the shows
When I first saw this show years ago, I didn't really like it. I thought the toilet jokes, fart jokes, penis jokes and innuendos were tiresome. Also most of it was Rik and Ade ad-libbing and going off script. Also we have to look at Richie's poo covered back throughout the whole first act.
All that stuff was probably hysterical back in 97, today not so much.
But when years passed, I thought "Maybe I've been too hard on this show." So, I decided to give it another chance and bought it on DVD. I liked it a lot more this time.
I liked the scene where Richie eats the bad fish and vomits. And the vomit is just steam. The more faker it looks, the more funnier it is. And you can see the hose Rik is holding onto when he is going to vomit on the cannibals. (They later used the bad fish plot in Guest House Paradiso, which I disliked. Despite the movie having a few funny moments though.)
My favourite scene is when they're talking about how they got on the island in the first place. I thought Richie's Ecstasy dance was funny. Also, I liked how you picture the incident in your head when they're talking about it.
I loved the set. In the credits, it said Rik and Ade designed it. They probably designed it when they were writing the script to see what scenes they could create. Out of the sets in the live shows, this is my favourite.
It may have it's flaws mentioned above, it's still enjoyable.
