The remote control for the crime computer is actually an off the shelf Mego Star Trek communicator working walkie talkie toy. The Star Trek name was, of course, covered over and the it was all painted a light color. The alert sound from the communicator was even used for the sound effect for the unit in the show, sped up a bit.
Less than a year before doing this series, Henry Polic II played Count Dracula in TV commercials for Universal Studios Hollywood's new "Castle Dracula" attraction.
Mike Lane (Frank N. Stein), previously played Frankenstein's monster in Frankenstein 1970 (1958), starring Boris Karloff, and to a more comedic effect in The Monkees episode, Monstrous Monkee Mash (1968).

Buck Kartalian, playing Bruce W. Wolf, is easily the most athletic member of the cast. Though short, he's a former bodybuilder and professional wrestler.
