No stranger to darkness, terror and the many faces of fear, Carpathian Forest bassist Daniel Vrangsinn – who, as we reported earlier this month, debuted his solo project Phobia at an exhibit of occult artists in Norway – has teamed up with Danish horror filmmaker director Kim Sønderholm to release three of his films through the distribution arm of Vrangsinn's multimedia company, Misantrof. I’ve been following Emil Ishii’s upcoming backwoods horror flick “Bleed With Me” (aka “Rovdrift”) for a while now, and I’m pleased to announce that the film is finally getting a proper Region 1 release courtesy of the dedicated individuals working behind-the-scenes at R Squared Films. Buzz surrounding the picture has been fairly good, though, to be perfectly honest, positive word of mouth means very little when you’re dealing with an indie horror movie. The Danish Film Rovdrift, also known as Bleed With Me, has been under way for three years now. And what better way to let the world know that it's finally finished than to unveil the trailer and some juicy stills?

Written and directed by Emil Ishii, produced by Anne Worm, and executive produced by Kim Sønderholm, Bleed With Me tells the tale of Laura (Camilla Metelmann), who has had the worst day of her life. Everything’s gone wrong. On her way home from work late one night she catches a taxi, not realizing that her driver (Kim Sønderholm) is about to make her day a whole lot worse!
