The Apple TV+ drama Severance is set to premiere on Feb. 18 via its streaming service. A first look trailer featuring stars Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus, and Christopher Walken can be found above.

Severance—from director and executive producer Ben Stiller and created by Dan Erickson— takes place at Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level with a “severance procedure,” which separates work and out-of-work memories. Scott stars as Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together.

Chris Black executive produces alongside Erickson, Stiller, and Nicky Weinstock, as well as Jackie Cohn from Red Hour Productions. Arquette and Scott also serve as producers. Mark Friedman will serve as executive producer and showrunner alongside Erickson. Endeavor Content serves as the studio.

“House of Cards” and “The Americans” writer Melissa James Gibson has signed a two-year overall deal with Endeavor Content, the studio behind Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers,” Netflix’s “The Lost Daughter” and Michael Bay’s “Ambulance” for Universal Pictures.

Shudder is pulling out all the shivery stops to commemorate the startling fact that we are exactly halfway to the most beloved date on any horror fan’s calendar, Halloween. Yes, that’s right, this month (April) is the six-month mark and the world’s scariest streaming outlet is celebrating with “Halfway to Halloween,” a massive slate of programming that begins on April 1 and continues throughout the rest of the month.

This is no April Fool’s joke (although we have some if you want). Shudder is rolling out a brand new batch of exclusive and/or original programming, including the second season of its acclaimed Creepshow series, the premiere of a new series of original short films called Deadhouse Dark, the highly anticipated sequel to its In Search of Darkness documentary, the return of The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs, and the 2021 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards.

Ben Stiller will produce a film about the life of his favorite basketball player, New York Knicks and NBA legend and Hall of Famer Bernard King.

The film will be based on King’s autobiography “Game Face: A Lifetime of Hard-Earned Lessons On and Off the Basketball Court” from 2017, and it would chart King’s journey from the playground basketball courts in Brooklyn and living in the projects to eventually making it to the NBA.

Stiller is a New York Knicks superfan, and he along with Nicky Weinstock of Red Hour Films are joining the producing team of Ted Field and Radar Pictures and Rodney Henry and Protege Pictures for a film based on his memoir.

Dollhouse vet Dichen Lachman has a new employer: The actress has joined the upcoming Apple TV+ workplace thriller Severance, starring Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and executive-produced by Ben Stiller (Escape at Dannemora).

Per our sister site Deadline, Lachman will play Ms. Casey, an employee at Lumen Industries, a company that offers a “severance procedure” which separates work and out-of-work memories. In addition to handing out dozens of fan-voted awards on Sunday, the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards also welcomed some of the biggest acts in music for two very different performances.

First up, Justin Bieber took the stage for a dramatic medley of songs from his Pca-nominated album Changes, which you can watch via the video above. His two-part performance began with “Lonely,” for which he was joined by collaborator Benny Blanco. After belting out some powerful notes of sadness, the Biebs transitioned into “Holy,” a slightly more upbeat single.

Apple TV+ has added Christopher Walken to its upcoming thriller series “Severance,” the streaming service announced Monday.

The series, which is executive produced and directed by Ben Stiller, centers on Lumen Industries, a company that’s “looking to take work-life balance to a new level.” Walken will play Burt, the Head of Optics and Design at Lumen Industries.

Walken will star alongside Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Zach Cherry and Britt Lower. Scott leads the series as Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together, with Arquette playing his boss.
