Many useful phrases, though it only covers the very general basics. But for anyone thinking of using it abroad it's not a bad basic phrase book.

This is an excellent traveler's Hindi language book. It also gives you the correct sentence structure if you are either a man or woman speaking the language. It's so easy to make a fool out of yourself if you are a woman and talk like a man. This book is superb. I highly recommend it. You can see my video review. I also live in India and speak fluent English. You can't go wrong with this book. It's about time somebody created the perfect language book. Thumbs up on this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great content, must-have reference, but very POOR packaging/printing
Reviewed in the United States on 28 June 2016
Great little book for non-Hindi speaking Indians, and for others, they may need a little bit of introduction before they get to this. Also the book has hindhi words printed in Hindi (great for those who can read it; for others, the pronunciation guides go only so far... not that good from what I saw).

But, the printing and binding needs improvement - A LOT..

For one, the hindi prints (as well as English) are smallish.... could have been printed in a bigger font, more readable font selection.

Secondly, the binding will not last long. For a book of this size (pages), the printing starts close to the spine and so the binding is going to come out with use.

To the publisher: this is not a one time read and throw it book. It has to last (particularly the rigors of travel). So, please, please, do a better job
