an emigrant seeking access into a wealthier state.
Sometimes people move to a different county or region, because they think that they are economically better off. Economic migration happens for different reasons, for example:
- People think they have a better chance of finding a job
- They get paid more
- Social security is better in the new place
- They pay less taxes
