Guineaman (plural Guineamen)

  1. (now historical) A ship trading with the coast of Guinea; a slave ship.
    • 1789, Olaudah Equiano, chapter 11, in The Interesting Narrative, volume I:
      I went with the Doctor on board a Guinea-man, to purchase some slaves to carry with us, and cultivate a plantation; and I chose them all my own countrymen.
