edit
  • Almost all words ending in -isasi is borrowed from another language. The source language is Dutch (-isatie) for terms coined in 19-20th century, however the suffix -isasi is mainly used to adapted English word with -isation suffix. This adaptation resulted in pseudo-Dutch words, loanwords which conform the Dutch grammar but not attested in Dutch as it was adapted from English.
  • Most linguists proscribed forming words using -isasi and promoted the usage of inherited affix peng- -an, such as pembetonan instead of betonisasi. However, the suffix -isasi is productive one as part of internationalism.
